About your cruise

Ionian Islands gives you the chance to explore the mythical home of the Greek hero Odysseus which has been the subject of fascination and passion for writers and travellers alike since ancient times. The islands are varied, some with bustling cities and others tranquil and traditional in nature. What the islands have in common is some of the best beaches and the kind of clear turquoise waters that are a dream to swim in.

You will be embarking on either a luxury sailboat or catamaran, with all the comfort you’ll need to relax and enjoy your holidays.

About the sailing yacht

Our modern sailing yachts have every luxury you need to enjoy wonderful times on the water and are suitable for both coastal and offshore sailing. They are also perfect for a week-long cruise as well as for learning freediving, helping in sailing, practicing yoga and other workshops or just enjoy the trip and go for a swim. The boats we operate can accommodate up to 10 guests, yet our cruises welcome up to 6 participants for more comfort onboard. Whether you travel as a group, a family with children or alone, you can choose to either charter a cabin or a boat with us, we will then organize everything for you

With its classic, single hulled template, the monohull is the original sailboat. Designed with performance in mind, monohulls are the best choice whether the conditions are flat and calm or rough and wild. Each of the four spacious cabins includes a private head, plenty of storage and adequate head room. The contemporarily-styled sailboat comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests including crew. On deck, the sloping wraparound side decks allow for safe and seamless movement between the cockpit, foredeck and living spaces.

Departure / Return : Lefkada, Greece

Detailed route

This route is given for information purposes. During boat charter cruises, you are free to set the route you wish. Ask your skipper for suggestions.

Day 1 : Lefkada – Kastos

Boarding, briefing with the crew and possible visit of Lefkada. We’ll then sail out towards the forbidden islands of Kalamos and Kastos, with their preserved and quiet beaches. Stress-free day with some freediving lectures and dry training on the way and in the evening.

Day 2 : Kastos – Kioni

Morning relaxation: stretching, breathing, yoga in the middle of the sea. Light breakfast. We can have a fun shallow dive offshore to get accustomed to breath-hold diving and put into practice what you’ve learnt until now. In the afternoon we can stop for a training dive and have a lecture as we make our way south towards the legendary island of Ithaca, home of Odysseus.

Day 3 : Kioni – Vathy

Morning relaxation, training dive and brunch. A wreck dive in Kritami can also be scheduled for intermediate-level freedivers. Lunch on the way followed by a workshop. Free time to explore. We will finish the day with light training, relaxation, video analyses or just chill and enjoy.

Day 4 : Vathy – Sami

Morning relaxation, diving on the line. After brunch we will be visiting Melissani cave, also named the Cave of the Nymphs, a must-see for the visitors of Kefalonia. Through a 36m tall opening, the shafts of daylight that come streaming in from above bounce off the water and light up the chamber with haunting and ethereal blues. Night will be spent anchored in one of the nearby coves.

Day 5 : Sami – Fiskardo

Morning relaxation and training dives. After the brunch, we will head towards the northern-most town on Kefalonia, Fiskardo and welcomed by its Venetian lighthouse at the port entrance. Its 19th-century buildings surrounding the harbour remained intact from the 1953 earthquake and offer a glance back in time. Relaxation, lectures, video analyses and sunset.

Day 6 : Fiskardo – Spartochori

Day 7 : Spartochori – Lefkada

Morning relaxation and training dives diving deeper or just completing our freediving course. Fun dives in some of the many clear water bays of Meganisi island before heading back to Lefkada. Optional lectures or simply enjoy our last night back in Lefkada.

• From Preveza airport to the marina in Lefkada : 20 km (25-35 minutes)

Departure and return times

• Departure on Saturday at 3pm
• Return on Friday at 6pm

Provisioning

We can arrange for provisions for you before departure. A hostess can also be hired and join us on board to make your trip a real holiday. Please let us know in your quote request.

Can the route be modified ?

Please be aware that your itinerary needs to remain flexible for safety matters, as it is influenced by external factors such as weather, wind and sea conditions, technical issues and how busy it is. We have found that predetermined itineraries simply don’t work, and that you should trust your skipper for local and up to date advice based on your preferences.
